The first residents of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region mobilized by the Russians are deserting near Pokrovsk.

According to Ukrinform, the partisan movement “ATESH” reported this on Telegram.

“An agent of ‘ATESH’ from the 110th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces reports: mobilized soldiers from the occupied territory of the Luhansk region have begun to arrive at the unit. Without training, they are immediately thrown into assault groups in the Pokrovsk direction,” the message says.

According to the source, at least four have already left the unit on their own after learning that they were being sent on suicide missions where only a few survive.

"People choose the risk of desertion over certain death. Such an escape is direct confirmation that no one wants to die as expendable material for someone else's ambitions and the headquarters' failed decisions," ATESH emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, a new wave of covert mobilization has begun in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
