In Ternopil, number of people killed by Russian strike has risen to 26, with 93 injured

In Ternopil, the death toll from the Russian missile strike on November 19 has risen to 26 people.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

As of 8:30 p.m., 26 people are known to have died, including three children. Ninety-three people were injured, including 18 children.

At the scene, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko assigned specific tasks to the police and other emergency services involved in dealing with the aftermath of the enemy attack.

Emergency rescue operations are continuing at the sites that were damaged during the enemy's morning attack. Work will continue throughout the night: all units will continue to clear debris and provide assistance to those affected.

Police officers will monitor public order and prevent looting.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of November 19, Russians attacked Ternopil and the region with strike drones and missiles. Two residential high-rise buildings were hit in the city.

In Ternopil, the number of people wounded as a result of the Russian missile strike rose to 92, including 18 children. There were 25 reported fatalities, including three children.
