Zelensky to meet with king, prime minister, heads of parliament during his visit to Spain

Today in Spain, President Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a series of meetings in the country's parliament and conduct talks with King Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

Zelensky's press secretary, Sergii Nykyforov, reported this to Ukrinform.

According to Nykyforov, the visit program includes Zelensky's visit to the Cortes Generales (the Spanish parliament) and a meeting with the heads of the Congress of Deputies (the lower house), Francina Armengol, and the Senate (the upper house), Pedro Rollan.

Zelensky will also meet with King Felipe VI of Spain and hold negotiations with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. Nykyforov noted that following these talks, a ceremony for signing bilateral documents and communication with media representatives will take place.

As Ukrinform reported, yesterday Zelensky paid a visit to France. During the visit, Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron signed a Declaration on cooperation in the area of Ukraine's acquisition of defense equipment. Zelensky emphasized that under the signed agreement, Ukraine will be able to receive, in particular, 100 Rafale F-4 aircraft, French radars, and eight new-generation SAMP-T air defense systems.

Tomorrow, November 19, Zelensky's visit to Turkey is scheduled.
