CinC Syrskyi: Ukrainian Army effectively counters enemy's offensive in Pokrovsk and Ocheretyne sectors
According to Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported this on Telegram.
"The enemy is not giving up attempts to break through to residential areas, multi-story buildings, and entrench itself there to expand its zone of control. With this in mind, we have developed a set of measures to counter the enemy's plans," he stated.
Syrskyi added that the main focus is on ensuring stable logistics for the Defense Forces' units, as well as countering the enemy's use of FPV drones, reconnaissance UAVs, artillery, and mortars.
Commanders have also worked out additional courses of action for various developments on the battlefield. "Our commanders act with mandatory consideration for the need to preserve the lives and health of their subordinate personnel," Syrskyi concluded.
As Ukrinform reported, during active operations in the Ocheretyne sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 189 km² and cleared an additional 257.7 km² of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
