In the southern sectors of the front, particularly in the Huliaipole sector near Orikhiv, Russian occupation forces have relatively increased the intensity of combat operations and are attempting to advance with infantry and motorized rifle units. Currently, the most difficult situation on the front line remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where the highest intensity of combat operations and air strikes is recorded.

This was reported on a television broadcast by the spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine, Ruslan Muzychuk, according to a correspondent for Ukrinform.

“We see that the intensity of the enemy has increased in the southern areas, in particular in the Huliaipole sector in the Orikhiv area, and the enemy is trying to use its accumulated infantry and motorized rifle units to advance,” the spokesman said.

Muzychuk also reported an increase in the intensity of shelling and drone activity in these areas. The occupiers are trying to increase their firepower against Ukrainian positions, which often results in the destruction of defence structures intended for future Russian advances.

"This also includes attempts by individual infantry groups to infiltrate combat formations and subsequently concentrate. Now the enemy is using drones, because it is not only artillery, but a large number of drones, [attempting] to take control of the logistical routes that the Defense Forces use, in particular, to supply these front sections," the spokesman explained.

Muzychuk also noted that the most difficult situation on the front line remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where the highest intensity of combat operations and air strikes is recorded.

“Right now, the most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk sector... Over the past 24 hours, the largest number of clashes took place here, and this is where the largest number of air strikes carried out by the enemy every day occur,” Muzychuk said.

According to the spokesman, more than 50 combat clashes took place in this area during the day. Russian occupiers also carried out 11 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units.

“The occupiers are actively trying to advance. We can now see that the main combat operations and attempts to advance are concentrated directly on Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Combat clashes are taking place near 16 settlements in this front area,” Muzychuk said.

He added that Russian invaders have also increased their activity in the Kupiansk sector, particularly on the north-eastern outskirts of the city, where they are still trying to break through.

According to Ukrinform, 172 combat clashes were recorded between the Defence Forces and Russian invaders along the front line yesterday, November 13.
