Russian troops shell Sumy, damaging trolleybus line
This was reported on Telegram by the acting Mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, as a result of enemy shelling in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy, a wooden farm building, five windows, and the roof of a residential building were damaged. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties,” he wrote.
Kobzar added that the relevant services are already working at the scene.
Also, Elektropastrans reported that due to technical damage to the contact network on Yakiv Shcheglov Street, trolleybuses on routes No. 7 and No. 13 will turn around near the Boarding House.
Local media outlets report that the explosions in Sumy occurred at around 12:15 p.m., presumably involving the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
As reported by Ukrinform, two people were injured in the Sumy region yesterday as a result of a Russian attack.
