Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad: General Staff reports on battles and logistics
This was reported to Ukrinform by Major Andrii Kovalov, Spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units are steadily holding their positions and killing Russian occupiers on the outskirts of the city.
Transportation to the city is complicated but ongoing. Information about the enemy having complete fire control over the Ukrainian Defense Forces' logistics routes or the operational encirclement of the city is false.
Earlier, the units defending the city were supplied with necessary weapons and ammunition. Additionally, personnel rotation and evacuation of the wounded were carried out. Logistics and the rotation of our units in Pokrovsk are being handled in the same manner.
Countermeasures are ongoing against enemy infantry groups attempting to gain a foothold in Pokrovsk. Search and strike operations are ongoing in the city, and enemy positions in urban areas are being eliminated.
As reported by Ukrinform, 265 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front line over the past day, November 9.
