Two firefighters injured in Russian attack on Kharkiv region

“According to preliminary data, six civilians were injured as a result of enemy strikes, including two firefighters from the LFD,” the post said.
According to the department, three fires broke out in the village of Dokuchaevsk, Rohan community, Kharkiv district, after the shelling: two private houses, a gas pipe, and a civilian infrastructure facility were on fire.
“One of the Russian drones hit the building of the Rohan local fire brigade, causing significant damage to the fire station and equipment,” the State Emergency Service said.
A fire also broke out as a result of shelling in the village of Ruska Lozova, Derhachi community, Kharkiv district, where a private house was on fire.
All sources of fire have been extinguished, according to rescuers.
At the same time, the head of the Derhachi community, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, reports that one of the firefighters was also injured while extinguishing the fire in Ruska Lozova.
"Today, at around 4:00 a.m., the Russians struck Ruska Lozova with Shahid missiles. As a result of the strike, one private house was destroyed. The resident of this house, a 61-year-old man, suffered a soft tissue injury to his head and was treated by medics on the spot. One of the firefighters who was extinguishing the fire with his unit was also injured," the post says.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Kharkiv Regional State Administration reported in its daily summary that four people were injured as a result of the shelling.
