Ukraine’s special recon unit hits Russian air-defense assets in Donbas
According to Ukrinform, DIU reported this on Facebook and published video footage.
“Over the past two weeks, the masters of the DIU special unit ‘Prymary’ have been systematically targeting Russian air defense in Ukraine’s Donbas,” the statement reads.
As a result of the latest reconnaissance attacks, two 48Y6-K1 ‘Podlyot’ radars and a 9A82 launcher from the Russian S-300V complex were destroyed.
“As a bonus, the intelligence unit eliminated a group of Muscovites and the KamAZ vehicle they were traveling in,” the military intelligence added.
As previously reported, DIU’s unit ‘Prymary’ struck two Russian An-26 aircraft and a coastal radar in Crimea. The unit also destroyed three radar stations and a landing craft in temporarily occupied Crimea.
