Russia loses 1,060 more soldiers in Ukraine war over past 24 hours

Russia suffered approximately 1,138,750 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and October 28, 2025, with 1,060 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,299 (+6) Russian tanks, 23,508 (+28) armored fighting vehicles, 34,044 (+8) artillery systems, 1,529 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 1,230 (+0) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,880 (+0) cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 428 warplanes (+0), 346 (+0) helicopters, 75,054 (+108) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 65,786 (+131) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,984 (+3) pieces of special equipment.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, 168 combat engagements took place on the front line on October 27. More than 50 times, the Russian army attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Pokrovsk sector but suffered heavy losses.
