In Kyiv, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian attack on the night of October 26 has risen to 31, including seven children, while three people have been confirmed dead.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram.

“At present, 31 people have been confirmed injured (including seven children) and three killed. People from different locations continue to seek medical help. At least seven have been hospitalized with injuries of varying severity,” he emphasized.

According to him, the nature of Russian attacks is shifting toward intensified terror against civilians.

“Now we are seeing attempts by enemy drones to penetrate the city every night. And this night has shown that their primary target is the terrorization of the population. Four locations were hit in the Desnianskyi, Obolonskyi, and Darnytskyi districts. All are purely residential areas,” Tkachenko added.

He noted that the most severe situation is in the Desnianskyi district, where a drone struck a nine-story building, causing floors between levels to collapse.

“At least 26 people have been confirmed injured here, including five children. Three people were killed — among them, a mother and her 19-year-old daughter murdered by the Russians,” he said.

At another site in the Desnianskyi district, a 16-story apartment building was damaged. “The apartments are badly affected, windows blown out. At least five people were injured here, including two children — the youngest is four years old. More residents are reaching out for assistance,” Tkachenko specified.

Additionally, a kindergarten in the district was damaged.

Crisis response headquarters have been set up in the Desnianskyi district at 40 Bratislavska Street and 65/1 Honore de Balzac Street. Points of Invincibility are also operating in nearby facilities — in schools No. 276, 300, 301, 308, and 313, and in the Lisovyi residential area at school No. 218, kindergarten No. 102, and housing office ZhED-302.

Tkachenko noted that in the Darnytskyi district, a private residential area was damaged, and at least one car was destroyed.
