Russians strike Novhorod-Siverskyi with drones, four killed, seven injured

In the Chernihiv region, a massive Shahed drone attack on the city of Novhorod-Siverskyi on October 21 killed four people and injured seven others, including a 10-year-old girl.

According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“A massive attack on Novhorod-Siverskyi. Russians struck with Shaheds — around 20 hits. It is already confirmed that four people were killed — all civilians, two men and two women,” Chaus said.

According to preliminary information, seven people were injured — those who have already sought medical assistance. Among them is a 10-year-old girl who is being transported to the regional children’s hospital.

One of the injured is in severe condition, while the others are in moderate condition.

The city suffered extensive destruction as a result of the large-scale attack, the regional head added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian forces had previously carried out a repeated FPV drone strike on Semenivka, Chernihiv region, damaging the vehicle of one of the local services.
