Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,130 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to October 21, 2025, amount to about 1,132,200 personnel, including 1,130 over the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In addition, Russia has lost: 11,278 tanks (+8), 23,436 armored combat vehicles (+37), 33,902 artillery systems (+23), 1,524 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) (+0), 1,229 air defense systems (+0), 428 aircraft (+0), 346 helicopters (+0), 72,600 operational-tactical UAVs (+235), 3,864 cruise missiles (+0), 28 warships/boats (+0), one submarine (+0), 65,026 vehicles and fuel trucks (+134), 3,980 special equipment units (+0).

The data are being clarified.

As reported, Spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South Vladyslav Voloshyn said on October 20 that Russian troops had launched active assault operations involving infantry, armored vehicles, quad bikes, and motorcycles simultaneously in several directions in the south.
