In the Orikhiv direction, Russian servicemen dropped explosives from a drone on their own soldier who decided to surrender to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to Ukrinform, the Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram and released a video.

“Even among Russian military personnel, there are those who deeply realize the hopelessness and senselessness of this war and, as a result, decide to lay down their arms and surrender,” the Southern Defense Forces said.

One such Russian soldier in the Orikhiv direction, realizing the hopelessness of the situation, decided to lay down his arms and surrender.

"However, he was not destined to complete the process of humane surrender. An enemy drone operating in the sky intervened in the situation. Instead of allowing his soldier to survive, the operator of the enemy drone dropped an explosive device on him, instantly killing the soldier who was trying to surrender," the Southern Defense Forces reported.

They emphasized that this incident is further evidence that the enemy does not value the lives of even its own soldiers and is prepared to take brutal action to hide signs of unwillingness to fight among its personnel.
