SBU, SOF drones strike oil terminal, several power substations in Crimea

Drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an oil terminal and several power substations in temporarily occupied Crimea overnight on October 13.

Sources within the SBU told Ukrinform about the operation.

According to the sources, drones from the SBU's Special Operations Center A and the Special Operations Forces targeted several facilities supporting Russia's war effort against Ukraine.

Among the affected targets was the Feodosia maritime oil terminal, where drones hit at least five storage tanks. A large-scale fire was reported at the site.

Also struck was the 220 kV Kafa substation in Feodosia, which is part of the Russia-Crimea energy bridge. The attack damaged power transformers, the switchgear facility, the control room, and the building housing protective automation systems, resulting in power fluctuations.

A series of explosions was also reported at the 330 kV Simferopol substation.
