Ukrainian forces halt Russian offensive near Dobropillia, destroy 57 pieces of equipment
Brigadier General of Justice Serhii Melnyk announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In the Dobropillia sector, the enemy attempted to break through our defenses, launching an assault with three brigades and a marine regiment in an effort to capture Volodymyrivka and Sofiivka. The attack was supported by six tanks, about 40 armored fighting vehicles, over 40 motor vehicles and other vehicles, and several hundred personnel," the general wrote.
According to him, "the Air Assault Forces, together with neighboring units, engaged the enemy and stopped its advance."
In total, Ukrainian defenders destroyed three tanks, 13 armored vehicles, and 41 motor vehicles, and damaged a tractor unit.
Russian forces also suffered around 100 personnel losses.
