Russian drone strikes electricians' vehicle in Chernihiv region: one dead, four wounded
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
"On the evening of October 10, in the Semenivka community, a Russian drone targeted a service vehicle belonging to the regional power company. The car caught fire, and while the consequences were being dealt with, there was a second strike, which hit another company vehicle. One employee was killed at the scene, and four others were injured and hospitalized," Chaus wrote.
According to him, the Russian military also shelled the local fire brigade that arrived to help.
In total, yesterday, the Russian army has been striking the Chernihiv region with attack drones. In the civil sector and on infrastructure facilities, fires broke out, and cars were damaged.
Enemy drones struck critical infrastructure in the Nizhyn district, setting fire to the roof of a production workshop. Thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers, the fire was extinguished.
Drones were reported to have hit an administrative building in Novhorod-Siverskyi. Firefighters quickly localized and completely extinguished the fire.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of October 10, in the Nizhyn district of the Chernihiv region, an employee of Ukrzaliznytsia who was carrying out restoration work was injured as a result of a massive drone attack.
