Russian forces strike near railway station in Chernihiv region, train delays reported

Russian troops carried out a drone strike near the railway section between Nosivka and Nizhyn in Chernihiv region, causing train delays.

That is according to the Nizhyn City Council, Ukrinform reports.

“The drone strike was carried out near the railway station on the Nosivka–Nizhyn section. Train traffic on one of the tracks is currently proceeding with delays,” the statement said.

Authorities noted that temporary suspension of rail traffic is possible. No casualties have been reported so far.

Earlier, Russian forces struck energy facilities in Pryluky district of Chernihiv region, leaving more than 61,000 consumers without electricity.
