Power outages continue across Chernihiv region after Russian strikes
This was reported on Telegram by Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“In Chernihiv region, scheduled hourly power outages continue under the ‘3-on, 3-off’ format. Where the situation allows, residents have electricity for longer periods,” Chaus noted.
At the same time, he said that due to the difficult situation in the power grid, emergency outages have been applied and remain in effect in Chernihiv city, as well as in Chernihiv, Koriukivka, and Novhorod-Siverskyi districts.
Throughout the day, energy workers have been working to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes — doing everything possible to restore power across the region.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces shelled Chernihiv region more than 10 times on October 5. Enemy Shahed drones attacked Chernihiv, with strikes hitting an industrial facility and an energy infrastructure site. As a result, one of the city’s neighborhoods is experiencing emergency blackouts.
