Woman killed in shelling on outskirts of Kherson
This was reported by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
"It became known that a woman in Antonivka died after sustaining injuries incompatible with life during enemy shelling of the settlement," the statement reads
Relevant authorities are working to identify the deceased.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that on October 1, a 49-year-old resident of the village of Bilozerka sought medical attention after being injured in a Russian drone attack on September 28. He was hospitalized with blast injuries and a concussion.
Additionally, a woman was taken to hospital after coming under fire in Kherson’s Dnipro district on the evening of September 29. The 74-year-old Kherson resident was diagnosed with blast trauma and a contusion and was hospitalized.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on September 30 it became known that a 68-year-old resident of Antonivka had died as a result of Russian shelling earlier in July.
Law enforcement also identified the body of a man killed in shelling, discovered in Kherson’s Tsentralnyi district on September 29. The victim was a 33-year-old local resident. Preliminary reports suggest he came under enemy fire during the night of September 28.
