Artillery shelling of Kherson: number of wounded climbs to five, one woman killed
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration on Telegram.
“The number of wounded has increased to five due to the morning artillery shelling of the Central district by Russian occupation forces,” the report said.
As noted, two more victims were taken to the hospital: a 44-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man. Both have post-concussion syndrome, blast injuries, and closed head injuries. At the time of the enemy strike, the victims were on the street.
According to the City Military Administration, another victim of the enemy shelling of the Central district, which occurred at around 10 a.m., was taken to the hospital. He is a 45-year-old man who suffered a post-concussion syndrome and blast injury. He was provided with the necessary medical help. Further treatment will be outpatient.
According to reports, residents of the village of Bilozerka who were wounded in previous days continue to seek medical care—three more victims are currently known.
In particular, a resident of Bilozerka who was injured by Russian shelling on the night of September 23 was admitted to the hospital. An enemy shell hit the house of a 72-year-old woman. She suffered blast trauma and a concussion. The victim was hospitalized. A 78-year-old resident of Bilozerka, who was injured by Russian shelling on September 21, needed help. The woman was diagnosed with blast trauma and concussion. She was hospitalized. A 59-year-old resident of Bilozerka, who was caught in Russian shelling on the evening of September 21, also sought medical care. The man was hospitalized with blast trauma and concussion.
As reported by Ukrinform, a 74-year-old woman was killed and a 55-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman were wounded as a result of the morning artillery shelling of Kherson.
Also, in the center of Kherson, a minibus was shelled by enemy artillery in the morning, resulting in casualties.
The authorities are urging residents not to go outside unless necessary.
In addition, the morning air strike on Kherson damaged 70 private houses and one apartment building.
