Russians shell Kostiantynivka with artillery, one person killed

In the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, a man was killed, and residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of Russian shelling.

According to Ukrinform, the Head of the City Military Administration, Serhii Horbunov, reported this on Facebook.

“We have received information about another enemy shelling of the city of Kostiantynivka. The enemy opened fire with tube artillery on residential areas of the city. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed, sustaining fatal injuries in his own home,” Horbunov wrote.

According to him, Russian troops also struck the city with Smerch multiple rocket launchers. Damage was recorded to three facades of high-rise buildings, the facade of a store, and a shopping center.

In addition, an air strike was carried out with a FAB-250 guided aerial bomb from a unified gliding and correction module. As a result, the facade of an apartment building was damaged. No casualties or injuries were reported.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 18, Russian troops killed five civilians and wounded one person in the Donetsk region. The victims were the residents of Kostiantynivka.
