Air Defense Forces destroyed 33 of the 54 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine on the evening of September 20.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, the invaders attacked with 54 Shahed and Gerbera strike UAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), about 30 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, Air Defense Forces shot down/neutralized 33 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, east, and center of the country.

Twenty-one strike drones were recorded hitting eight locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, two firefighters were injured during rescue operations at a critical infrastructure facility in the Chernihiv region as a result of shelling.
