Ukrainian fighters have destroyed a Russian medium-range surface-to-air missile system 'Buk' after an agent of the ATESH resistance movement, who is serving in the Russian military, passed along photos and coordinates of the system’s deployment.

According to Ukrinform, ATESH reported this on Telegram.

The partisans quickly relayed the data to Ukraine’s Defense Forces, who then struck the position, and the installation has now been destroyed.

Importantly, neither the agent nor his fellow servicemen were harmed.

“More and more servicemen do not want to be part of the war machine, so they are reaching out to us. If you don’t want to participate in the Kremlin’s crimes and want to protect yourself, contact us. Our work is systematic — we have already received new information, and more strikes are being prepared,” ATESH stressed.
