Zelensky visits Air Assault Forces command post in Donetsk region

The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"At the command post of the Air Assault Forces in the Donetsk region, I spoke with the commanders of Air Assault Forces units about the active defense of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, the next steps, training of servicemen, manning of the Air Assault Forces and assault units, and the specifics of their missions, including cooperation with drone systems units," Zelensky said.

He thanked the soldiers for their service.

"We are doing everything to strengthen our forces, our army, and to support our warriors for the maximum security of our country," Zelensky added.

Earlier, in his address from the Donetsk region today Zelensky said that Ukraine's Armed Forces had thwarted a Russian offensive near Pokrovsk and Dobropillia.
