Ukrainian forces liberate Pankivka in Donetsk region

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the press service of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Forces operating in the Azov’s operational zone continue liberating territory in the Dobropillia sector.

“As a result of coordinated actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, the settlement of Pankivka and adjacent areas have been cleared of the enemy,” the statement reads.

The military noted that Russian forces continue to build up their grouping in the area.

To increase offensive potential, the Russian command has redeployed additional reserves into the zone of responsibility of the First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, including four infantry brigades and one marine regiment.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces are making every effort to halt the enemy’s advance and prevent a breakthrough of the defense line.

As reported by Ukrinform earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky heard a briefing from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation at the front, particularly in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.
