Russia strikes Dnipro with missile, hits several towns in Dnipropetrovsk region
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.
“Yesterday, Russians attacked Dnipro with a missile. A fire broke out, which rescuers quickly extinguished,” he wrote.
In the evening and overnight, the enemy shelled Nikopol district with FPV drones, heavy artillery, and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Pokrovske and Marhanets communities also came under fire. A private house caught fire, eight others were damaged, along with a café and gas pipelines.
In the morning, Russian forces shelled the town of Nikopol twice. The consequences are still being assessed.
In Synelnykove district’s Mezhova community, a house burned down following a drone strike, which also damaged a rescue service vehicle.
No injuries were reported in those attacks.
It was noted that the number of people injured in yesterday’s strike on Marhanets community has risen to six.
Ukrainians air defenses shot down four enemy drones over the region.
As previously reported, the enemy attacked Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region around 40 times on September 13. Five people were injured, including one child.
