Tusk: Poland acts against drone threats crossing its borders

An operation is ongoing in Poland in response to repeated violations of its airspace by Russian strike drones.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote this on X, as reported by Ukrinform.

“An operation is underway related to repeated violations of Poland’s air border. The military used weapons against the objects. I am in constant contact with the President and the Minister of Defense. I received a report directly from the operational commander,” the post reads.

As Ukrinform previously reported, during an attack by strike drones on Ukraine, Russian drones reached Poland’s territory.
