Record number of enemy attacks reported in Novopavlivka sector over past day

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a record number of enemy assaults over the past 24 hours: 51 Russian attacks were launched simultaneously across 17 directions.
This was stated by Oleksii Bielskyi, spokesperson for the Dnipro operational and strategic group of troops, in a comment to an Ukrinform correspondent.
According to him, the intensity of combat in this sector has reached unprecedented levels.
“In the Novopavlivka sector, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a record 51 enemy assaults. They (Russian forces – ed.) attacked across 17 directions! Just recently, this area saw around 20–25 attacks per day. For example, yesterday there were 22 assaults,” Bielskyi added.
As earlier reported by Ukrinform, on September 8, a total of 195 combat clashes between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded along the front lines.
