Agents of the ATESH resistance movement recorded a convoy of military equipment near the village of Kirilovskoye in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.

According to Ukrinform, ATESH reported this on Telegram.

“Two IFVs and one Typhoon-K armored vehicle were moving by rail toward the front. There were no tanks in the convoy. It consisted mainly of cheap passenger cars, numerous trucks, and old UAZ vehicles left over from the Soviet era. Fuel tanks and medical vehicles were also spotted in the convoy," the report said.

The vehicles bore the tactical insignia of Russian units from the Sever group, which took part in the battles in the Kursk and Kharkiv sectors.

ATESH noted that the recent change of commander of the Sever group and such movements may indicate preparations for active operations.

The partisans promptly forwarded all the information to representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia replaced the new commander of the Sever military group. He is now Colonel General Yevgeny Nikiforov. Previously, this position was held by Colonel General Aleksandr Lapin.

On the night of August 17, the Defense Forces inflicted fire damage on a Russian army convoy on the Rylsk-Khomutovka highway in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, resulting in serious injuries to the deputy commander of the Sever military group, Lieutenant General Esedulla Abachev.
