Injury toll in Russian strike on humanitarian mission near Chernihiv rises to five, two dead

In Chernihiv region, the number of civilians injured in today’s Russian attack has risen to five.

This was reported on Facebook by Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.

“Currently, it is known that two people were killed and five injured in the Russian missile strike on Kyselivka community. They were employees of the humanitarian demining mission Danish Refugee Council,” he said.

Chaus added that the wounded are receiving treatment in medical facilities and are being provided with all necessary assistance.

Law enforcement officials are working at the site of the strike.

As reported, in the afternoon of September 4, Russian forces deliberately targeted the humanitarian demining mission of the Danish Refugee Council operating in Kyselivka community near Chernihiv. Initial reports indicated two dead and three injured.
