Ukrainian forces destroy two Russian armored vehicles, foil breakthrough attempt

Soldiers from the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces used drones to halt a Russian assault involving two armored vehicles.
According to Ukrinform, the Ground Forces reported this on Facebook and released corresponding footage.
“The warriors from the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade thwarted an attempt by Russian forces to deploy troops. Two armored vehicles carrying infantry advanced toward our positions, but heavy bombers and FPV drones did their job. The enemy was destroyed,” the post reads.
All relevant units are actively working to assess and respond to the aftermath.
As earlier reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian border guards from the Chernihiv Rapid Response Commandant’s Office successfully a Russian offensive in the Pokrovsk sector, capturing nine enemy soldiers.
