The NATO Security Assistance and Training Center for Ukraine (NSATU) is working to increase the predictability of military supplies in order to enable Ukrainian commanders to better plan future operations.

This was stated in an interview with Ukrinform by NSATU Deputy Commander Major General Maik Keller.

"Our goal is to achieve a longer or a bigger visibility of donations. So our goal would be that we have roughly six months in advance so that the Ukrainian forces know what the donations will be in terms of systems and ammunition in order to better enable them to plan their operations," Maik Keller stressed.

He added that the planning period is currently quite short, so the predictability of military assistance “need to increase here in Wiesbaden together with all our partners across Europe and all over the world”.

"We have to send a very clear signal to Russia that we will stay committed and we will support Ukraine as long as necessary. So whatever Russia's plans are for the future, however long they want to fight this war, they can be sure that we will stand by the side of Ukraine and support you. So they will have no chance to endure this fight," the Major General stressed.

As reported by Ukrinform, the NSATU Deputy Commander believes that NATO countries are indebted to the Ukrainian military, because thanks to the lessons learned during the war in Ukraine, the allies are making changes to the training of their armies without suffering losses.
