In the early hours of August 29, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a coordinated strike on a pipeline pumping station near the village of Naytopovichi in Russia's Bryansk region.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The station near Naytopovichi is used to pump diesel fuel through main petroleum product pipelines, including for the Russian army. Its annual capacity is estimated at about 10.5 million tonnes.

"A fire has been recorded at the facility. The results of the strike are being clarified," the General Staff said.

The operation was carried out by missile and artillery units and the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine's Armed Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

On the night of August 27-28, Ukrainian forces also struck Russia's Afipsky and Kuybyshev oil refineries.
