Ukrainian Marines regain control of Zelenyi Hai in Donetsk region

Fighters of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, together with the 214th Separate Assault Battalion OPFOR, halted enemy advances and re-established control over the settlement of Zelenyi Hai in Donetsk region.
That is according to the Dnipro Operational Strategic Group of Troops on Telegram, cited by Ukrinform.
“As of today, August 23, the enemy continues active attempts to retake this settlement and occupy other villages in Donetsk region along this front. But our warriors stand firm, and on Ukraine’s National Flag Day, Zelenyi Hai remains under the blue-and-yellow flag,” the statement reads.
The Marines emphasized that, shoulder to shoulder with other Defense Forces units, they firmly defend the Ukrainian people and continue destroying the enemy.
As reported by Ukrinform, soldiers of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade recently regained control of most of the settlement of Tovste (Tolstoy) in Donetsk region.
