Attack on Mukachevo: explosion occurs at foreign investment factory, number of wounded climbs to 15

The number of people wounded as a result of the Russian strike on the enterprise in Mukachevo has increased to 15.

Maryna Bezeha, Spokesperson for the Zakarpattia Regional Prosecutor's Office, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“As of 9 a.m., the number of people injured as a result of the strike on the enterprise in Mukachevo has risen to 15. People continue to seek help,” she said.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the Russian army struck Mukachevo with two Kalibr missiles, causing an explosion at a foreign-invested factory.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

All law enforcement agencies are working at the scene. Prosecutors, the Security Service of Ukraine investigators, and the National Police are collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and recording damage to civilian infrastructure.

Earlier, it was reported that 12 people were wounded as a result of the Russian strike on Mukachevo. Two of them are in the hospital in severe condition.
