Paratroopers release footage of Zolotyi Kolodiaz and Petrivka liberation in Donetsk region

Soldiers from the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully carried out assault operations that led to the complete liberation of the villages of Zolotyi Kolodiaz and Petrivka in the Donetsk region from Russian occupation.

A video of the combat operations was posted on Facebook by the Airborne Forces Command, Ukrinform reports.

The mission was carried out by units of the 79th and 82nd Separate Airborne Assault Brigades.

During the fighting, Russian forces suffered heavy losses in personnel, weapons, and military equipment. Several enemy combatants were captured and transferred to the exchange fund.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared six settlements in the Pokrovsk sector: Hruzke, Rubizhne, Novovodiane, Petrivka, Vesele, and Zolotyi Kolodiaz.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the presence of more than 100,000 Russian military personnel was recorded.
