Russians intensify pressure in Kupiansk area and near administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian occupation forces have intensified pressure in the Kupiansk and Novopavlivka sectors, in particular, attacking near the administrative border with the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported on television by Viktor Tregubov, spokesman for the Operational Strategic Group Dnipro, according to a correspondent for Ukrinform.

"There [in Kupiansk] is intense pressure across the entire sector.

The Russians are trying to use the last month of summer, pulling in reinforcements and pushing forward," Tregubov said.

“Attempts to enter there are currently unsuccessful, but [the Russians] are actively trying and will continue to try,” the spokesman said.

Tregubov summed up that at present, throughout the entire area of control of the Operational Strategic Group Dnipro, Russian occupiers “have crawled in like it’s their last chance".

As reported by Ukrinform, 168 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the frontline yesterday, August 11.
