Artist Davyd Chychkan killed in action

Chychkan's comrades-in-arms reported the news on Instagram, Ukrinform reports.

"On August 8, while repelling an enemy infantry assault in the Zaporizhzhia sector, our comrade Davyd Chychkan sustained severe wounds. On the morning of August 9, his heart stopped beating," the post said.

According to fellow soldiers, Chychkan approached every task with dedication, never hiding behind others or relying on his social standing. He was always sincere with people and shared his deep thoughts on politics, ethics, and social justice with his comrades.

Davyd Chychkan was 39 years old.
