Netherlands to provide Ukraine with missiles, components for Patriot air defense systems

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans has announced that the Netherlands will deliver a new military aid package to Ukraine, which will include components and missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
According to Ukrinform, Brekelmans made the announcement on the social media platform X.
"Ukraine urgently needs more air defense and ammunition. The Netherlands is the first NATO country to deliver a EUR 500 million package of American weapons systems (including Patriot components and missiles)," the post reads.
Brekelmans stated earlier that the Netherlands would make a significant contribution to supplying Ukraine with U.S.-made Patriot air defense systems.
