158 clashes on frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk sector

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“In total, 158 clashes were recorded over the past day,” the report said.

According to updated information from the General Staff, the invaders carried out 86 air strikes and dropped 132 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used 4,413 loitering munitions and carried out 5,960 artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including 85 strikes with multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Chuhunivka, Sheviakivka in the Kharkiv Region; Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Mykolaivka, Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region; Bilohiria, Novoandriivka, Zarichne, Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia Region; Lvove in the Kherson Region.

It is reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 14 air strikes, dropping 31 guided bombs, and carried out 363 shelling attacks, six of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped nine enemy assaults.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Zelene, Fyholivka, Zapadne, and toward Petro-Ivanivka.

Yesterday, there were six attacks by the invaders in the Kupiansk sector. Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy's assault in the areas of Radkivka, Holubivka, and Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army attacked 18 times. The occupiers tried to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses in the areas of Hrekivka and toward Serednie, Hryhorivka, and Shandryholove.

In the Siversk sector, the Ukrainian military successfully stopped nine attacks near Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Hryhorivka, and toward Siversk.

One combat engagement was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector, near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynove, Rusyn Yar, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 57 assault operations by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Poltavka, Kotlyne, and toward the settlements of Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Novoukrainka, Novopavlivka, Zapovidne, and Rodynske.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Russian army carried out 10 attacks yesterday in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Piddubne, Myrne, and toward Andriivka-Klevtsove, Temyrivka, and Oleksandrohrad.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors.

During the day, the occupiers made five attempts to advance towards Prydniprovske in the Prydniprovske sector.

No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sector.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel, weapons, military equipment, artillery, and radar stations were concentrated.

According to Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops in manpower from February 24, 2022, to July 28, 2025, reached about 1,050,250 people, including 1,000 people over the past day.
