Russian drones hit Dnipro logistics facility, causing death and disruption

In Dnipro, 12 enemy drones struck the terminal of the logistics company Delivery overnight on July 17, resulting in the death of an employee and injuries to two others.

The company reported the incident on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“During another Russian attack on Dnipro overnight on July 17, the enemy targeted logistics infrastructure. The Dnipro-Transit terminal and the CRC-1 office, which serves customers in the city of Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region, were damaged. Twelve drone strikes on the facility were recorded. Sadly, one driver was killed in the attack,” the post states.

Two other company employees were wounded and hospitalized. The rest of the staff managed to reach shelters in time.

The company also reported that their delivery vehicles were damaged. Part of the terminal area is still ablaze, and efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing. The affected terminal has been completely cut off from electricity and internet service. As a result, all deliveries within Dnipro and the region have been canceled for the day, the company emphasized.

The extent of the damage and the list of destroyed or damaged shipments are still being determined. The company assured that each affected customer will be contacted individually regarding compensation for lost or damaged goods.

As previously reported, enemy drones targeted Dnipropetrovsk region overnight. According to the Air Force Command, 22 drones were shot down by air defense forces, but some managed to hit their targets.

The city of Dnipro was under heavy attack. One person was killed and five others injured.
