Khyzhak combat module approved for use in Ukraine's Armed Forces

Ukrinform
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has codified and approved the use of the new domestically produced remotely operated combat module "Khyzhak" for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Ukrinform, the ministry said this in a statement, citing the Main Directorate for Armaments and Military Equipment Lifecycle Support.

"The Khyzhak combat module can be deployed in stationary positions and on mobile platforms. It can be equipped with 7.62mm machine guns compatible with either Soviet-standard or NATO-standard ammunition. The remotely operated system can engage targets at standard infantry combat distances. It is capable of tracking and firing at targets in multiple dimensions — on the ground or in the air. The stabilized platform allows for accurate firing even while in motion," the statement reads.
