Fires broke out in two districts of Kyiv region as result of Russian UAV attacks

In the Kyiv region, fires broke out in two districts as a result of an attack by Russian drones on the night of July 14.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on Telegram.

According to him, air defense forces were operating in the Kyiv region during the night during the attack by Russian drones. Targets were shot down.

“As usual, ground crews of drone interceptors from Chyste Nebo worked effectively last night. A dozen enemy UAVs were intercepted on the borders of the Kyiv region,” Kalashnyk said.

There were no casualties among the population. No critical infrastructure facilities were hit.

In the Bila Tserkva district, a farm building caught fire as a result of a UAV attack. The fire has been extinguished.

In the Fastiv district, a fire in a warehouse was extinguished. Six trucks and a hangar were damaged.

Emergency services continue to work to record and eliminate the consequences of the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, air defense forces shot down 61 of the 136 drones that the Russians used to attack Ukraine on the evening of July 13.
