Three injured as Russian forces shell clinic in Bilozerka

In the village of Bilozerka, Kherson region, Russian forces shelled a medical facility with artillery fire, injuring a patient and two healthcare workers.

In a post on Facebook, the Kherson Regional Military Administration said the attack occurred early in the morning when Russian troops targeted a healthcare facility in Bilozerka, Ukrinform reports.

The explosion caused damage to the building and left three people injured.

A 40-year-old male patient sustained blast trauma and multiple shrapnel wounds to his lower leg. A nurse, born in 1978, suffered blast trauma, shrapnel wounds to her legs, head, and arm, as well as significant blood loss. A driver, born in 1976, also sustained blast injuries and a wounded arm. All victims are receiving the necessary medical treatment.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the shelling under Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

According to investigators, the artillery strike took place at around 08:20 in a residential area of the Kherson district.

The military administration also reported that a man whose car was attacked by a Russian drone in Bilozerka on July 8 has sought medical attention. The 52-year-old local resident was hospitalized with blast injuries, a concussion, and a traumatic brain injury.

Fourteen people were injured across the Kherson region on July 10 amid continued Russian aggression.
