Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated more than 230,000 Russian invaders and destroyed over 1,300 tanks in the first half of 2025.
According to Ukrinform, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced this on Facebook.
"In the first six months of 2025, Ukraine's Defense Forces have already neutralized more than 230,000 Russian occupiers, 1,311 tanks, and 2,885 enemy armored vehicles," the statement reads.
Syrskyi expressed gratitude to all Ukrainian defenders for their effective and professional combat performance.
Ukrinform reported earlier that Russia's total combat losses in its war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to July 4, 2025, amounted to approximately 1,024,210 personnel, including 1,120 killed or wounded on July 3.
