Budanov: Iran-Israel conflict has minimal impact on Ukraine

Ukrinform
The conflict between Iran and Israel has had virtually no impact on Ukraine.

This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, in response to a question from a Ukrinform correspondent during an event to award participants in the Magura project.

“The conflict was limited in scope, time, and territory. There are no active hostilities at present, so its impact [the conflict] on us is almost negligible,” he said.

“Apart from components – gunpowder, chemicals, and a small amount of ammunition – nothing has been coming from Iran [to Russia] for a long time,” added the head of the DIU.

Earlier, The Telegraph reported that Iran's war against Israel could reduce the supply of ballistic missiles to Russia from the Islamic Republic, and Tehran would likely resort to stockpiling its own long-range weapons instead of exporting them abroad, as it has done so far.
