Ukraine’s air defenses intercept 74 of 107 Russian drones

Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 74 out of 107 drones used by Russian to attack Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

Starting from 22:00 on Sunday, June 29, Russia launched 107 strike drones, primarily Shahed types and various decoy drones, from several directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The primary targets were Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.

The aerial assault was countered by Ukrainian aircraft, electronic warfare (EW) units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 on Monday, June 30, 74 drones had been neutralized across northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine — 64 were shot down, and 10 were suppressed by EW systems.

There were confirmed impacts in 15 locations and debris from downed drones fell in two locations.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian Shahed drones attacked Sloviansk in Donetsk region overnight on June 30.

Hits were recorded in Zaliznychnyi district and near Kerammash area, industrial buildings and private homes were damaged.
