Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia region cuts power to 5,000 households

Nearly 5,000 households were left without electricity following a Russian drone strike on the Zaporizhzhia district.

That is according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, as reported by Ukrinform.

He noted that repair work will begin as soon as the security situation permits.

The attack also sparked a fire in a private residence, though no injuries were reported. Emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze.

As earlier reported by Ukrinform, a crew of power engineers came under enemy fire while working to restore infrastructure damaged in previous attacks.
