Russian shelling of Kramatorsk: One killed, four injured

A Russian strike on the city of Kramatorsk has left one person dead and four others injured, according to preliminary reports. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, announced this in a Facebook post, as reported by Ukrinform.

“One dead and four wounded — these are the preliminary results of yesterday’s strike on Kramatorsk as of 12:30. A 62-year-old man was killed in the attack, while a 14-year-old girl is among the injured,” he wrote.

Filashkin added that four more individuals remain trapped under the rubble, and emergency services continue working at the scene.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that a 17-year-old boy was killed in another Russian strike in the Donetsk region. That strike wounded four more people and caused damage to high-rise buildings and over 30 private homes.
